Now a lot of online retailers have free shipping/and amazon has a lot of vendors, free same day/one day/two day shipping on a lot of items, and with prime shipping is basically always free. Last time I went I thought to myself “I could probably buy anything in this store online…” saves time, gas and I don’t have to put clothes on. This was before amazon was slapping with the same day/one day delivery, if I wanted an item same day and didn’t want to pay for shipping Id stop by frys electronics real quick.

Watched a video saying toy sales transitioned online and toys-r-us didn’t evolve with the market, got dusted by online sales.Īs someone that grew up around that transitional time, I went to frys electronics a couple times. My completely un-researched guess is that online shopping might’ve punched some retail stores in the gut. /r/phxmusic - Local music scene and calendarsĬover image courtesy /u/User9113, sidebar and footer via ggfergu./r/phxjobs - Hiring and Looking For Work./r/azpolitics - Political discussion & debate./r/PHXList - For Sale, Housing, Pets, Jobs, etc.Housing/Roomates/For Rent - post in /r/PHXList.Hiring/Looking for Work - post in /r/PHXList.Reddit's Best of Phoenix - Recommended by locals!.Check our Phoenix wiki and past threads for topics that come up often.Local and statewide live chat on Discord!
